SmallRig 5334 2Ã Magnification Telephoto & Macro Lens Kit for Phones (T-Mount)The 2Ã teleconverter doubles the optical magnification of your smartphoneâs telephoto lens, with a minimum focusing distance of 5m. For macro photography with a shallow depth of field and minimal distortion, simply attach the included macro lenses in front of the teleconverter: with one macro lens, the maximum focus distance is 40cm, while stacking two macro lenses reduces the maximum focus distance to 20cm. Crafted with multi-coated optical glass, these lenses minimize distortion and color shift, delivering vibrant, full-color HD output. The universal phone clip ensures precise alignment with your phoneâs camera lens, providing a secure fit without obstructing the screen, enhancing overall usability.Note:This kit is designed exclusively for telephoto lenses. Do not use it with the main or ultra-wide camera. Ensure your phone is set to the 5Ã telephoto or 4Ã/8Ã telephoto setting for optimal performance with the teleconverter.For optimal experience, we recommend using third-party camera apps that allow you to manually activate/lock the telephoto lens (e.g., Lightroom, Blackmagic, ProCam, Indigo, Fotorgear).Note: the macro lens must be used with third-party camera apps.When using the iPhoneâs native camera app, ensure Macro Mode (14mm lens) is turned off.If you use the lens without the included clip, apply the provided ultra-wide lens sticker. This prevents the ultra-wide camera from activating, which causes severe vignetting.For the 2x telephoto lens, the minimum focus distance is 5m. If the subject is closer than 5m, the main camera will engage instead, resulting in heavy vignetting in the frame.Macro lenses must be stacked in front of the teleconverter and cannot be used independently.Align the lens precisely with the phoneâs camera to avoid vignetting.
