Its two large plates offer a 23x14.5cm cooking surface, the ideal space to cook two sandwiches or large sandwiches at the same time. For a homogeneous and uniform heat distribution over the entire surface of the food, the upper plate of the grill is self-adjusting and automatically adjusts its height and inclination according to the dimensions of the food. In this way, cooking is carried out in the same way on both sides and always optimally. 
To make using the grill comfortable and pleasant, Black + Decker has tried to make cleaning the appliance as easy as possible and for this, the BXGR1000E incorporates a practical grease tray. Thanks to this system, all the fats and oils left over from cooking are drained through the specially designed rails and stored under the bottom plate, so that after removing and emptying it, the grill is as good as new to be used again.
