The Maiuspala candy, which turned out to be the undisputed favorite of Estonians, was already produced in 1956. The heart of the candies is a delicious almond praline, the filling is covered by a rich glaze made of the best chocolate, and crunchy cashew pieces are used as decoration. When it comes to Maiuspala, there is no need for legends - it is not known who invented these candies, and the origin of the original cover girl of Maiuspala is also unknown. The photo of the hitherto unknown girl was replaced by a photo of a great Estonian girl, 5-year-old Sonja from Valgamaa, as a result of a large photo contest with approximately 1,200 participants for the 55th anniversary of Maiuspala. The resulting photo became a replacement for the original, which had lost its quality over time. Store in a dry and cool place
