The cable is designed to be used in vertical installation where the sheath counteracts the spread of fire between floors in a building, an important feature whether it is in a backbone or a monitoring installation.

The conductors are 23 AWG and of pure copper with a crosstalk separator between the pairs. This means it meets the requirements for both Cat6 channel and component standards as well as PoE applications.

The mantle is marked with a downward length indicator every meter, which makes it easy to check how much cable remains so that both installation time and cable scrap decreases.
