DIY wooden educational STEM kit “Electric Fan”. This construction kit helps children learn the basics of physics and engineering in the simplest and most engaging way.
Features:
This is a construction kit, toy, and educational tool all in one. The educational set allows future engineers and meteorologists to assemble and operate a working miniature fan while learning about aerodynamics and engineering technologies.
The toy helps children understand the science of airflow and the importance of climate control, inspiring future engineers and environmental enthusiasts.
During assembly, children develop fine motor skills, precision, and engineering thinking. The model helps children understand the structure of a simple electric fan and how everyday objects around them work.
The parts are made from high-quality, child-safe materials. The sturdy construction is designed for use and safe play. The model is also suitable for educational activities.
Young engineers can paint and decorate the toy to give it a unique style.
Easy assembly: simple and clear instructions allow children to assemble the toy with minimal adult supervision, making the kit suitable for independent work or activities together with parents.
STEM (Science + Technology + Engineering + Mathematics) is an educational approach that integrates science, technology, engineering, and mathematics into a unified learning model to prepare the younger generation for the rapidly developing world of technology.
This is an excellent gift choice, as well as a useful kit for schools and educational institutions where simple, reliable, and clearly functioning teaching models are needed.
Working principle:
The main part of the model is a direct current (DC) motor which, when powered by batteries, spins the propeller and creates airflow.
The fan is turned on and off using a switch.
Building a circuit: by connecting the battery holder, switch and motor, children learn what a closed electrical circuit is. When the switch is turned on, the electrical circuit is completed and electrical energy from the batteries flows into the motor. The motor coil begins to rotate under the influence of the magnetic field. In this way, electrical energy is converted into mechanical rotational movement, which spins the propeller, and the propeller creates airflow.
Engineering literacy: children develop the ability to read diagrams and correctly connect components so the system works properly (for example, not reversing polarity, so the fan blows air forward rather than backward).
Educational value: the model practically teaches principles of physics and electrical engineering, energy conversion into motion, and electrical circuit control.
Purpose: learning at home, in the classroom, and for project-based activities.
