AXAGON PCEM2-XS PCIe Adapter for M.2 NVMe SSD
The AXAGON PCEM2-XS is an internal PCIe adapter that allows you to install an M.2 NVMe SSD in a desktop computer without a built-in M.2 slot. It supports both single-sided and double-sided M.2 SSDs and drives with sizes from 2230 to 2280.
The adapter supports PCIe 5.0, 4.0, 3.0, 2.1, 2.0, 1.1 and 1.0a, with up to four PCIe lanes and compatibility with x4, x8 and x16 PCIe slots. It supports M.2 NVMe SSDs with M-key or B+M key and has no maximum SSD capacity limit.
For improved cooling, the adapter features a ribbed aluminium heatsink, copper-plated cooling surfaces and thermal pads. The heatsink effectively dissipates heat from the SSD, making the adapter suitable even for demanding PCIe 5.0 NVMe SSDs.
The adapter supports Plug & Play and booting directly from the installed SSD. No additional drivers are required.
