Ajax GlassProtect Wireless Glass Break Sensor

The Ajax GlassProtect Black is a wireless glass break detector designed to detect the sound of breaking glass. It's an effective perimeter security device for windows, protecting against intruders who might attempt to gain entry by smashing glass. Its black color allows for discreet placement on darker window frames or walls.

The detector uses a sensitive electret microphone to recognize the specific low-frequency and high-frequency sounds of glass breaking. It can detect glass breaks up to 9 meters away with a 180° angle of coverage. The detector's sensitivity is adjustable across three levels to suit different environments and minimize false alarms.

Ajax GlassProtect communicates with the Ajax Hub using Jeweller radio technology, ensuring secure and encrypted two-way communication up to 1000 meters in open space. This guarantees lightning-fast alarm signal delivery. The detector's operating life is up to 7 years on a pre-installed CR123A battery. It also includes an external contact (NC type), allowing for the connection of third-party wired detectors, such as door contacts or other opening sensors, expanding the system's functionality.
