Peak Design created Form Rope as a minimalist and more delightful-to-use alternative to the other rope straps Peak Design has tried in the past. Instead of abrasive climbing rope sewn to chunky off-the-shelf split rings, Peak Design custom-designed their own materials and hardware to create a streamlined form with a brilliant connection experience.
The internally-developed basket-woven nylon/poly rope strikes the optimal balance of strength, padding, and stretch for comfortable camera carry. At the ends, the rope seamlessly terminates into a color-matched low-profile version of their glass-reinforced nylon Anchor Link quick-connectors, offering secure and effortless camera attachment. A sleek anodized aluminum accessory loop lets you attach a spare Anchor, letting you stow your strap on your body when you remove your camera.
