KODAK TRI-X 400 is a high-speed panchromatic black-and-white negative film known for its distinctive classic grain structure, strong edge sharpness and high resolving power. Its ISO 400 sensitivity and wide exposure latitude make it a flexible choice across many shooting conditions. This version is supplied as a 35 mm roll with 36 exposures.
Classic grain with broad flexibility
TRI-X 400 is well suited to low-light environments, fast shutter speeds and situations where extra depth of field is useful. Its characteristic grain and consistent tonality have made it a long-standing choice for street, portrait and documentary photography, and Kodak specifies that the film can also be used for push processing.
The film uses standard black and white development, making it suitable for home or hand lab development. This film cannot be developed in Photopoint labs
