Part of the Manfrotto Bridging Technology range, the 500X combines precise fluid movement with fast adaptation between photo and video shooting styles.
Smooth movement with flexible framing
The Fluid Drag System (FDS) on both pan and tilt delivers controlled, consistent camera movement for smooth video operation and accurate framing. If greater camera control is needed the built-in Counterbalance System (CBS), optimised at 2.4 kg at 55 mm centre of gravity, can be engaged and it helps keep camera setups balanced and controlled with reduced operator effort. A hinged camera plate makes it fast to switch between landscape and portrait orientation, supporting the growing demand for vertical video production without interrupting setup flow.
Fast setup, quick adjustment
The 501PL sliding plate with side-lock top attachment allows fast top-loading and secure camera mounting directly onto the head. Designed for fast-moving productions and hybrid shooting environments, the 500X enables quick camera adjustment while maintaining smooth, controlled operation throughout the shoot.
Built to adapt
The 60 mm flat base with 3/8" mounting allows the 500X to move easily between tripods, sliders, dollies, and other support systems. Fully compatible with the Manfrotto XCHANGE quick release system, it enables rapid equipment changes between supports and shooting configurations.
