The 70mai RC23 is an external rear-view camera designed for use with 70mai A800SE, A810S, and T800 dash cams. It records events behind the vehicle in Full HD resolution. Thanks to its design for external installation, it is suitable for vans, motorhomes, and other vehicles that lack a conventional rear window or where installing a camera inside the cabin is not feasible.
High-quality recording powered by advanced technology
The 70mai RC23 utilizes a Sony STARVIS 2 IMX662 sensor and an FH8333 image processor, which processes the video signal in real time to deliver 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second. Its bright f/1.4 aperture lens effectively gathers light, ensuring clear details even in low-light conditions—making it possible to read the license plates of vehicles behind you even after sunset. An HDR (High Dynamic Range) function balances exposure—for instance, when exiting a garage or entering a tunnel—helping to preserve detail in both the brightest and darkest areas of the frame.
140° field of view
A wide 140° field of view covers a large portion of the road behind the vehicle. In addition to capturing vehicles following behind, the camera also records cyclists moving alongside and other crucial traffic details that may prove important later.
Easy installation on the vehicle exterior
The RC23 is mounted on the vehicle's exterior—typically near the license plate—using double-sided tape or screws. It connects to the dash cam via a 6-meter USB-C cable, which consists of a 5.5-meter section and a 0.5-meter section. If the included cable is not long enough for the installation, an extension cable can be used.
Durable even in challenging conditions
When mounted on the exterior, the camera must be able to withstand both cold and heat. The RC23 has an operating temperature range of –10 °C to 60 °C, making it suitable for use in various weather conditions.
Ideal for vans, motorhomes, and commercial vehicles
