GaN technology
GaN is short for the compound gallium nitride, an alternative to silicon semiconductors. The whole charm of GaN technology lies in the fact that, compared to silicon, semiconductors made of this material can withstand much higher frequencies and have an incomparably higher efficiency, thanks to which overheating is prevented and, therefore, the size of products can be significantly reduced.
