Note - This does only work with the M2 S 2.0 version.Chasing M2 S 2.0 Robot ArmChasing M2 S 2.0 Robot Arm is a compact underwater gripping accessory that adds object handling and retrieval capability to the M2 S 2.0. It is suited to inspection and recovery tasks where the ROV needs to grip, move or retrieve an object rather than only observe it.Controlled gripping underwaterThe two-jaw gripper provides a maximum clamping force of 6 kg and a resistance force of up to 12 kg. The jaws have 120 mm of opening and closing travel, allowing the arm to handle a range of small underwater objects. A complete opening or closing movement takes approximately 2.8 seconds for controlled operation.Grip force can be adjusted through the control system to suit different objects and reduce the risk of applying unnecessary pressure. This makes the arm useful for retrieval, sampling and inspection support where controlled handling is important.Compact aluminium constructionThe arm is made from aluminium alloy and uses a watertight 4-core connection for integration with the ROV. It measures approximately 460 mm in length and 33.5 mm in diameter, keeping the accessory narrow and relatively easy to mount without adding unnecessary bulk to the vehicle.Built for underwater tasksThe Robot Arm is designed for use at depths down to 100 m, matching the rated diving depth of the M2 S.
