The Ajax Hub 2 is the heart and brains of the Ajax security system, providing connection and coordination for all system devices such as motion sensors, door/window sensors, smoke detectors, and sirens. It is designed to deliver maximum security and reliability, effectively responding to any threats and immediately informing the user and/or security company.

The main feature of Ajax Hub 2 is its photo verification function, which allows connecting motion detectors with a built-in camera (e.g., MotionCam). This means that in case of an alarm, Hub 2 can send photos to the user and the security company, providing visual confirmation of the event and reducing false alarms. Connectivity is ensured through multiple channels: Ethernet (wired internet) and two SIM cards (2G/3G/4G), providing reliable and redundant communication even if one connection is disrupted. Hub 2 uses Ajax's proprietary Jeweller radio protocol, which provides a long communication range (up to 2000 meters in open space) and high energy efficiency, allowing sensors to operate on batteries for up to 7 years. Additionally, it features the Wings radio protocol for transmitting visual alarm verifications. The device is equipped with a built-in battery that provides autonomous operation for up to 16 hours in the event of a power outage.
