Ajax FireProtect Wireless Smoke and Temperature Sensor

The Ajax FireProtect Black is a wireless fire safety detector designed to identify threats from smoke and rapid temperature rise. It's a crucial component for ensuring fire safety in homes and offices, offering timely alerts. Its sleek black design helps it blend into darker ceilings and walls.

The detector is equipped with a smoke chamber that detects smoke particles and a temperature sensor that triggers an alarm if the temperature rises rapidly or exceeds a set threshold. In the event of a fire, FireProtect can sound synchronous alarms with other FireProtect detectors in the system, even if only one detects a threat, ensuring a swift alert throughout the property. It can also operate independently of the Ajax Hub if power goes out or connection is lost, sounding a built-in siren.

For communication with the Hub, Jeweller radio technology is used, providing a secure connection up to 1.300 meters in open space. The detector's operating life is up to 10 years on two pre-installed CR2 batteries (main) and one CR2032 (backup). The smoke chamber is protected from dust for long-term reliable operation.
