Boya Universal Compact Shotgun Microphone BY-MM1+

The Boya BY-MM1+ is a universal compact Shotgun Directional Microphone, specially designed to improve the sound quality of videos, compared to the built-in microphones. The BY-MM1+ has a compact size and is made of aluminium. The BY-MM1+ works without a battery, so you don't have to worry about battery status (provided your camera provides phantom power). Included in the box is a renewed anti-shock mount, which can effectively reduce unwanted vibrations and noise. Also included is a windbreak, to minimize wind and noise both inside and outside. There is an additional 3.5 mm port to which you can connect headphones, so that you can listen back to the recordings afterwards when you play them back.

With the supplied TRS cable and TRRS output cable, the BY-MM1+ can be used on smartphones, cameras, camcorders, sound recorders, PCs and other audio/video recording devices.

BY-MM1 vs. BY-MM1+

The new + version of the BY-MM1 has a higher sensitivity and produces less noise. In addition, a Rycote Lyre bracket is now included, which minimizes unwanted noise when moving.
