The D-Fruit DF174 is a smart card reader featuring both USB-A and USB-C interfaces, designed for using ID cards, bank cards, and other ISO 7816-compliant smart cards with a computer. In addition, the device supports SIM cards and is suitable for electronic authentication, digital certification, banking services, and other smart card-based services.
The reader connects to a computer or server via a USB cable, and its USB 2.0 CCID interface ensures reliable data exchange. The device supports 5V, 3V, and 1.8V smart cards as well as ISO 7816 Class A, AB, and C standards. The smart card interface offers a transfer rate of up to 420 Kbps. An integrated LED indicator provides a clear status overview: a red light indicates power, while a green light indicates card reading activity. The device is compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
