Midland 8001 PRO - SSB communication

Perfect for those who demand top performance, even in the most extreme conditions. Superior performance, wherever you are. If you´re looking for a CB radio that offers the best in audio quality, range, and reliability, Midland is your ideal companion. This model with SSB (Single Side Band) modulation is designed for those who want clear and powerful communication even in the most extreme situations.

Greater range, cleaner audio quality, and reduced interference

A long-awaited return for SSB enthusiasts.

Once used for intercontinental communications from home, SSB modulation returns in a compact version (175x135x5mm and weighing 1.2kg), perfect for vehicle installation. SSB devices of the past were often bulky, sometimes three times larger than today´s, making them difficult to use on the move. Now, finally, the power and quality of SSB are accessible on the road, without compromise. The new large 4”¼ multicolour LCD with VA technology offers a clear, high-contrast view, perfect in any lighting condition. The technological heart of the device is the dual-function NR filter, which combines the power of DSP (digital signal processing) with the efficiency of artificial intelligence to minimize interference in both reception and transmission. Advanced features include 9-level adjustable VOX, allowing you to speak freely without pressing a button. The ECHO function amplifies the clarity of your voice, ensuring you´re always intelligible even in noisy environments. And to protect your device, the customizable SWR function warns and protects you in the event of incorrect antenna calibration. Furthermore, thanks to the CTCSS/DCS subchannels, you can communicate more discreetly and protected from interference. In short: advanced technology, maximum reliability, and truly professional performance.
